Shanghai is upcoming movie of Emraan Hashmi which will be released in 2012 under the banner of PVR Pictures. Director of Shanghai is Dibakar Banerjee who has lot of experience and talent. Presence of Emaraan Hashmi is enough to make any Hindi movie famous because he has huge fan base due to his different style of acting. Although complete details about story or plot of Shanghai are not known but it will be a thriller/romance movie with some talented actors.

Abhay Deol is playing leading role along with Emraan Hashmi in Shanghai. Prosenjit Chatterjee, Pitobash Tripathy and Frooq Sheikh are also playing important roles in the film. Kalki Koechlin is playing leading female role. She is now well reputed actresses of Hindi film industry although there are many critics of her who are not ready to give her status of first rank Hindi actresses.
